Founded by Carolyn, a Registered Nurse and Cosmetic Nurse Specialist with more than 25 years of nursing experience, AURA Aesthetics Academy brings clinical knowledge and professional education together.
Our education pathway is designed for registered health professionals who want to build their knowledge, develop practical skills and continue growing in aesthetic medicine. Through structured learning, supported clinical experience and personalised guidance, we aim to help practitioners build a stronger foundation for their professional journey.

We emphasise practical learning through hands-on workshops and real-world clinical scenarios, giving students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a supported clinical environment.
Our Foundation training includes two full days of hands-on clinical training with a minimum of four models, allowing students to develop practical experience, refine their techniques and build confidence under educator guidance.

Who is AURA Aesthetics Academy ?
AURA Aesthetics Academy (AAA Training Academy) was created to bridge the gap between clinical knowledge and confident aesthetic practice.
Our education combines evidence-informed learning, facial anatomy, clinical decision-making, hands-on training and professional development to help healthcare professionals build knowledge, confidence and safer clinical practice.
OUR VISION: extends beyond individual courses. Over time, AURA will continue to expand its education pathways and work towards offering nationally recognised training where appropriate.

AURA Aesthetics Academy is a CPD-accredited provider, committed to delivering high-quality continuing professional development for registered healthcare professionals.
Our courses are being progressively developed and introduced over the next 12 months, allowing us to carefully build each education pathway, refine our learning resources and ensure our training meets the professional standards we have set for AURA.
Each course will clearly outline its learning outcomes, CPD allocation, prerequisites, inclusions and assessment requirements, so you can choose the education pathway that best suits your professional goals.
Where prerequisite learning is required, these modules must be completed before progressing to practical training. This ensures participants are appropriately prepared to undertake their training safely and effectively.

Understanding RTO vs. Non-Registered Courses
An RTO course is delivered by a Registered Training Organisation and meets the nationally recognised standards set by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). Completing an RTO course gives you a formal qualification or statement of attainment that is nationally recognised and stays with you for life. It sets a consistent standard across the industry and can be used toward future study, career advancement, or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
In contrast, a non-registered course is not nationally accredited. While still taught by experienced professionals and valuable for building skills, confidence, and clinical knowledge, it does not carry formal recognition. These courses are primarily for personal or professional benefit, but cannot be used as credit toward formal qualifications or claimed for RPL.
At our training institute, we offer both RTO-recognised and non-registered courses, each clearly outlined so you can make informed decisions based on your goals, career path, or CPD requirements.

Build a strong understanding of facial anatomy before progressing into practical aesthetic training.
Our online facial anatomy module provides the foundational knowledge required to understand facial structures, layers, muscles, vascular considerations and clinical decision-making.
